Voorbereidingen/ Preparations

Hoi allemaal!

Zoals de meeste van jullie al weten, anders kijk je hier waarschijnlijk niet, vertrek ik zaterdag 21 juni naar Chili voor 4 weken! Aangezien ik tijdens dat maandje toch wel graag aan het thuisfront wil vertellen over mijn ervaringen en ik het leuk vind om hier foto's en filmpjes op te zetten, heb ik (een tijdje terug al) besloten om een reislog bij te houden. Jullie zullen hier tijdens mijn reis dan ook uitgebreide verslagen en foto's terug kunnen vinden! Natuurlijk vind ik het ook heel leuk om zo af en toe wat van jullie te horen, dus als je dan zin en tijd hebt om een berichtje voor me achter te laten: graag!

Momenteel ben ik al druk bezig met de voorbereidingen. Wat moet er mee, wat moet er niet mee, hoeveel moet er mee, ach je kent het wel. Nog druk op zoek naar een geschikte reisgids over Chili, er is helaas niet zo'n groot aanbod (krijg meteen zin om er zelf één te schrijven, haha). Ook ben ik bang dat ik iets vergeet, tja, niks aan te doen helaas.

Ik vlieg naar Chili met Swiss International Airlines (via Zürich) en heb dus nog stille hoop Roger daar tegen te komen. Kans is klein, helaas, aangezien Mr Federer dan waarschijnlijk al lekker staat de trainen op de groene banen van Wimbledon. Zucht, je kunt ook niet alles hebben. Maar, ik ben natuurlijk wel in zijn land, op het vliegveld wel te verstaan! Daar moet ik me dan maar tevreden mee stellen. Ohja, en natuurlijk dat ik Roger ook stilletjes aanmoedig wanneer ik in een vliegtuig zit met een Zwitserse vlag op zijn staart, hoeveel mensen kunnen dat nou zeggen?!

Ik hoop dat jullie het leuk vinden om een beetje op de hoogte te blijven van mijn ervaringen! Ik weet niet zeker of ik altijd een stuk in het Nederlands zal schrijven, ik zal het wel proberen. Ik heb veel buitenlandse vrienden die graag op de hoogte blijven, vandaar dat ik in Nederlands en Engels schrijf. Mocht ik te weinig tijd hebben, dan zal ik waarschijnlijk alleen iets in het Engels schrijven. Denk dat dat geen probleem is, toch?

Hi everybody!

As most of you already know (otherwise you wouldn't be looking here), I'm going to Chile on Saturday the 21st of June. I will be staying there for 4 weeks. I created this (Dutch) travel blog, so that I will be able to keep in touch with you by telling you everything about my experiences and showing you some pics and vids. Of course I'd love to hear how you are doing too, so I'd really appreciate it if you leave a message every now and then (when I'm in Chile).

At the moment I'm busy with all the preparations. What to take and what not to take, how much, etc. Well, you all know what that's like. I'm still looking for a proper travel guide about Chile. Unfortunately there aren't that many available (would love to write one myself!). I'm also afraid I'll forget something important, but well, what to do about it?

I'm travelling to Chile with Swiss International Airlines (via Zürich), so I still hope to run into Roger there! Unfortunately there's just a small chance, since Mr Federer will probably be training on the green green courts of Wimbledon at that time. *Sigh*, well, you can't have everything, can you? But, I will be in his country, on the airport that is! I should be satisfied with that. Don't forget that I'll be cheering for Roger silently, while flying in an airplane with a Swiss flag on its tail! How many people have done that, ah?!

I hope you'll enjoy reading about my experiences. I will probably write in both Dutch and English, but there might be times when I'll only write in English.
