Gearriveerd!/ Arrived!

Hello everybody,
Just a short message for now, as I'm extremely exhausted and will go to bed soon, even though it's only 6 pm in Chile right now. The flights went well. When waiting for the plane to Zurich, I met a Greek-Dutch grandmother, who was very nervous, because it was her first flight on her own. We helped each other and had a nice conversation. The plane from Zurich to Santiago had a stop in Sao Paulo, to get some fuel and a lot of people left the plane there. During the flight, I had been sitting next to a very friendly and great guy from Brasil, who was in Europe for his work. We had some really nice conversations and I was deeply impressed by the way he talked about his country and about Latin America. I shared most of his visions on the world today. He talked with so much love about his country, but also critized things. He pointed some things out that I really have to visit and we had some great conversations about the differences between Europe and Latin America. In the end, we exchanged e-mail addresses. Ronaldo, if you're reading this, thanks for the nice flight!!
Unfortunately, I just slept 3 hours in the airplane. Somehow, I always find it hard to sleep in there, even though I'm tired. We left Sao Paulo after a stop of 40 mins and then arrived in Chile 4 hours later. Wonderful feeling to fly over the Andes and the first thing that came to my mind when the plane touched the ground, was " WOW!". It is real. It's no dream, it's reality.
I found Leo, Faride, Olguita and Maca at the exit and it was really amazing to see them all again!!! They are so friendly, you can't even imagine. Their house is my house. :) At about 1.30 pm we went to a restaurant to have lunch and I tried some typical Chilean food. It was really nice, but all I want now is going to sleep, which I'm going to do! Will have to find out how to get the pics on this computer, so I hope I can show them to you soon!
